Agenda: The AGM will review 2016, present financial statements, discuss some recommended directions for 2017, and elect a board for 2017.
Proposed Slate: The proposed slate of 2017 Board Members are:

- Nitin Kumar Srivastava
- Jayashree Bhat
For those not on the slate and wishing to join the board of directors, it is recommended that you submit your interest prior to the board meeting to firstname.lastname@example.org. It is recommended that those wishing to join the board also describe their civil liberties experience, legal training or experience, or other criteria demonstrating familiarity with Canadian civil liberties. Not all applicants are guaranteed to be successful in their application to join the board of directors.
Becoming a Volunteer: We welcome all people to become involved in advocating for civil liberties. For those without civil liberties experience, it is suggest that volunteering with RMCLA occurs for a while before joining the board to ensure familiarity with RMCLA policies, how civil liberties policy development occurs, various laws associated with civil liberties, and limitations to civil liberties policy development. Joining a policy committee is an excellent way to begin with RMCLA. We welcome your application to volunteer at: email@example.com
Voting & Membership: Voting at the RMCLA meeting is reserved to organization members. Membership applications are $20 and found at: http://rmcla.ca/membership.html Membership is accepted by a vote of the board of directors prior to the AGM. To become a member, prospective applicants agree to uphold RMCLA’s mission, bylaws and code of conduct.
