Federal Bill makes snooping easier

Bill C-12, entitled the “Safeguarding Canadians’ Personal Information Act,” is intended to improve online privacy and protect personal information. However, it may make it easier for governments, police and possibly private security firms to dig into your personal affairs. This piece of legislation is projected to proceed in the house of commons.
