Multiculturalism or Interculturalism? A Public Event

Forty years ago, Canada led the world in implementing a multiculturalism policy. Several other countries followed. Critics say, though, that multiculturalism promotes cultural relativism, undermines civic values and even undermines common Canadian values. However how true is this? Cultural diversity and minority rights experts from the European Union and Canada will meet at the University of Calgary this November 10-11 at a conference to discuss and debate these and other issues in multiculturalism. Register early, as seating is limited.
